Air Conditioning Service Plans What's Covered? Annual tune-up of the cooling equipment in the spring. Labor for service calls during regular working hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon. thru Sat. except holidays). Replacement parts are billed at 10% off our retail prices. Annual Tune-up: Clean condenser and condenser fan. Clean expansion coil if accessible. Oil motors and bearings as required. Check and adjust fan belts. Check motor and compressor amperage draw. Check and adjust refrigerant charge. Check airflow and adjust blower motor speed if necessary. Replace standard air filter and clean electronic filter. Media filter element replacement is not covered. Check thermostat, motor contactors and all wiring. Check condensate drain piping and/or pump for proper condensate removal. General Conditions Service labor shall not be charged for service calls during the hours listed above. Service labor for all other times shall be charged at $75.00 per hour. Please check the thermostat setting fuse panel and power switches before calling for service. Adjusting thermostat or turning on switches shall not be covered by the contract. Labor for replacement of compressors, entire condensing units, entire blower units or other parts not covered under the contract shall be charged at our regular rates ($55.00 per hour from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon. thru Fri. except holidays and $75.00 per hour during all other times). The annual tune-up must be performed between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Mon. thru Fri. Labor for the repair of refrigerant leaks shall be charged at our regular rates. John Duffy Fuel Company shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the failure of any part of the cooling system. This contract does not cover damage to any part of the cooling system caused by fire, flood, other contractors, misuse or any other abnormal circumstances. Service labor for the correction of balancing problems such as not enough cooling in one room or section of the house is not covered under the contract. This contract is for a period of one year from the date it is issued. It shall be automatically renewed unless the customer notifies John Duffy Fuel Company to discontinue the coverage. John Duffy Fuel Company reserves the right not to offer this contract for systems in need of repair at the time the contract is purchased.
